Upon graduating from Tulane University with master's degrees in social work and disaster resilience leadership, she quickly moved into an executive leadership position at two local treatment centers, serving clients with eating disorders, mental health issues, and substance use disorders at IOP, PHP, and residential levels of care.
Tedder has managed multiple retail stores, organized and led a community art workspace, and led volunteer groups at expressive events. She has worked in the non-profit sector, assisting people experiencing houselessness, sexual violence, and domestic violence.
Creating an inclusive environment where people of all identities feel comfortable and can access the services they need has always been a priority for Tedder. They want to provide a space where mental health and wellness professionals can find a community in which to grow, not just a place to practice.
